The village of Vellano is conveniently situated between Florence (1 hr.), Pisa (45 min.), Lucca (30 min.), the thermal spa town of Montecatini (20 min.) and the beaches of Versilia (1 hr.)

This deco style villa sleeps 6 people and is elegantly appointed with kitchen, living/dining room, foyer, bathroom, and front yard (with gazebo for outdoor dining) and large back terrace. The villa contains linens and kitchen utensils (plates, pots, pans etc.) We also have stereo, television and DVD with an extensive collection of music, movies and books (which include art history, guide books and Italian vocabulary). You'll find a swimming pool just ten minutes down the road at a lovely hotel complete with outdoor dining. After a day of hectic sightseeing, it is a joy to return to the calm atmosphere of this small village.
